We have been in business since 1991 and currently employ ten full time agents. Island Real Estate is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Tisbury Business Association, the Better Business Bureau the Cape Cod & Islands Board of REALTORS® , the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®, adhering to a strict code of ethics and standards of practice. Members of the REALTOR® associations receive up to the minute knowledge on real estate through local, state, and national associations, their institutes, publications, and meetings. Island Real Estate is also a member of LINK, the multiple listing service on Martha's Vineyard. We can provide you with updated information on all Vineyard properties.
We can provide information and arrange to show you all of the land, home, and condo listings on the island. You need not make repeated calls to numerous offices since we work with all agencies. Sheila Morse moved to the island shortly after graduating from Providence College with a degree in Business Administration in 1990. She became involved in real estate on Martha’s Vineyard in 1991. After partnering with David Cron, a founder of Island Real Estate, they established a venerable team, some who have been with Island Real Estate for more than ten years. They believe education is very important in this business. Sheila is a Real Estate Broker and co-owner of Island Real Estate. She holds the designations GRI – Graduate of REALTOR® Institute, SRS- Seller Representative Specialist, and CBR – Certified Buyer Representative. Sheila is a member of the Cape Cod and Islands Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. She is able to assist buyers, sellers, and renters in all areas of real estate, island-wide. Sheila has a wonderful husband and three beautiful girls. When not in the office, she supports her husband in their other island businesses that include the Granary Gallery, the Field Gallery, and North Water Gallery. They actively support many local, community organizations including the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, VNA, Hospice, YMCA, The West Tisbury Library, the Preservation Trust, Big Brothers and Sisters, and Community Services. |

I have been in the real estate sales business on Martha’s Vineyard since 1982. I specialize in the sale of vacation homes and primary homes as well as commercial sales and rentals. I regularly work as a consultant for legal cases and opinions of value. I ran my own reaI estate business for 8 years in Edgartown and specialized in the same areas. I also developed a successful vacation rental department. My decision to work with Island Real Estate came due to recognition that my strengths are in sales. My desire is to become even more effective in order to benefit my clients. As an experienced real estate agent, I consult with professionals who are experts in all aspects of property development and acquisition as needed by buyers and sellers. A close working relationship with experts in their fields benefits the client. I believe that education is the best way to achieve knowledge and professionalism. | Michael Davin | Michael Davin, formerly of the Philadelphia area, has been a year-round resident of the island and a real estate agent for twenty years.
